Oskar Steinbeck, mais conhecido pelo seu nome artístico Panda Eyes, é um compositor, produtor musical e DJ suíço.

Carreira

Panda Eyes começou sua carreira em 2013, reunindo elementos de chiptune, dubstep e outros gêneros de bass music para formar o seu próprio estilo de glitch hop.[1] 

Em 2014, ele lançou a musica Highscore, a música mais famosa do artista, feita em colaboração com o artista Teminite. Atualmente a música conta com mais de 4,5 milhões de visualizações em seu SoundCloud oficial. No início de 2015, ele lançou o mashup "Superheroes" com o produtor alemão Virtual Riot, que reunia as principais músicas que representavam o gênero dubstep.

Em 2016, ele deu a sua primeira entrevista para a UKF.com nomeando Nero, Rusko e Knife Party como gatilhos que mudaram ele para o estilo Dubstep e o duo francês Justice como sua principal inspiração para ir para música eletrônica.[2]

Em abril de 2017, ele postou um vídeo no Facebook, anunciando que ele estava trabalhando em um novo álbum, porém, Oskar foi diagnosticado com uma doença autoimune, o que o desmotivou e o fez quase desistir de sua carreira. O nome de seu álbum, "Continue", é uma mensagem para não desistir e continuar tentando.[3]

Em 2018 ele entrou para a gravadora de música eletrônica Disciple, o que, segundo ele, é um novo passo para evoluir, pois grandes artistas como 12th Planet, Virtual Riot, Barely Alive e Fox Stevenson estão nela.[carece de fontes?]
