É um peixe de clima tropical e demersal.[5]
Distribuição geográfica[editar | editar código-fonte]
É encontrado no Oceano Atlântico oriental: desde a Guiné-Bissau até Angola, incluindo Fernando Pó[7].[5][8][9][10][11]

É inofensivo para os humanos.[5]
