The "Wehrhahn-Linie" currently under construction is planned to be openend in 2015. Constructions began late in 2007. By the way. The "Metrô de Düsseldorf" is not a real Metro, it's a "Stadtbahn". That means this traffic product doesn't operate like a metro does, it's mostely operating "by daylight" and has less tunnel routes. The Stadtbahn is an idea of the late 1960's and includes the Rhine-Ruhr area (Cologne, Bonn, Düsseldorf, Essen, Dortmund etc.). Some ideas for routes are not fulfilled to 100% but most of them could be realised somehow. But that differs between the cities.
