Gnatholepis thompsoni é uma espécie de peixe da família Gobiidae e da ordem Perciformes.

Habitat[editar | editar código-fonte]

É um peixe marítimo, de clima tropical e associado aos recifes de coral que vive entre 0–50 m de profundidade.[4][6]

Distribuição geográfica[editar | editar código-fonte]

É encontrado no Oceano Atlântico ocidental (desde Bermuda, Flórida - Estados Unidos da América - e nas Bahamas até ao Norte da América do Sul) e Oceano Atlântico oriental (ilha de Ascensão, Santa Helena (território) e São Tomé).[4][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30]
