Hi, could you explain why Curdy should be deleted? It's not a good article, nor a very known one, but it has many interwikis (probably part of a crosswiki spam, due to that image being on all interwikis, yet the series does exist, doesn't it?), but still I don't see why it should be deleted. - Hello, Daimore. Pardon my lack of portugese. My main argument is that this is self-promotional cross-wiki spamming. And that the quantity of wiki-languages are the greatest problem. And Balder (or his friend/advocate) has even exploited Wikiquote, Wikisource and Commons in this (self-)promotional campaign.
Furthermore: almost everything is this article is untrue, as far as i know: This is supposed to be a trilogy, but only two books are published by now. The book mentioned by name is (afaik) only published in spanish, so there does not exist any book by this english title. The article claims that the book(s) have gained «grande popularidade e sucesso comercial», and even though i hardly can understand any portugese at all, i can comprehend this, and it is either POV, bragging or simply un-encyclopedic. There are even more that is untrue: Artur Balder is apparently spanish, not british. And what is more: only 1 (or 2) of the external links are relevant to this article, the other ones are SEO-spamming.
The remaining facts of the article is then: Curdy is the main caracter of two books, written and published in spanish, by the spanish author Artur Balder. They are not translated to other languages, and has no known fan club.
Was that a fair reply to your question? Greetings and respect, from Orland (discussão) 19h35min de 9 de Dezembro de 2008 (UTC)
