Zhongwei (chinês tradicional: 中衛, chinês simplificado: 中卫, pinyin: Zhōngwèi, Wade–Giles: Chung-wei) é uma prefeitura com nível de cidade na província de Ningxia, na China.
Possui uma área de 16 986,1 km2 (6 558,4 sq mi) e uma população de 1,041,821.[1]
Turismo
[editar | editar código-fonte]A principal atração de Zhongwei é Gao Miao, um templo que sediou cerimônias [[Confucionismo|confucionistas], budistas e taoistas. Um abrigo antibombas também foi construído sob o templo durante a Revolução Cultural Chinesa. Desde então foi transformado em uma interpretação do inferno budista.[2] A prefeitura também é o local de início da curva norte do Rio Amarelo, que produz o Ordos Loop.
The world's largest photovoltaic power station, Tengger Desert Solar Park, is located in Zhongwei.[3]
